The conversation. (2016). After the cyclone: why relying on tourism isn’t in Vanuatu’s interests. [online] Available at: http://theconversation.com/au  http://theconversation.com/after-the-cyclone-why-relying-on-tourism-isnt-in-vanuatus-interests-39874 [Accessed 2 Mar. 2016].

The main arguments for this site is “why depending on tourism isn’t in Vanuatu’s interests” The point is that; after the cyclone, Vanuatu isn’t getting that much tourists anymore due to the damage the cyclone has done. The topics covered are Vanuatu, its cyclone, tourism, and government. This site is about the latest news and interesting facts that are going around globally.

This site is a VERY useful source as it is from a series of news reporters that post there information online. It is a pretty good source, yet some of my other sources are more accurate and give more sufficient data. The information, however, is reliable. It does take a small variety of opinions in. (so It is slightly objective.) The goal of this source was to find interesting topics and find more about them, then, posting ‘their’ research online.

This source was helpful to me, it helped me gather some important data and information of Vanuatu’s dependence on tourism. I used this source to answer my “demographics of tourists question.” In the site, it explains that the runway is damaged and therefore tourists cannot go by air---------“ It didn’t really change how I thought about this topic.

The main arguments (or more like points) that this site is addressing is important tourism information. The point of this website is to inform potential traveler’s tips and warnings for Vanuatu. The topics that are covered are Security, valuables, transportation, and lots more. This Site is about information for any potential travelers.

This Site was a very useful source. It is a lot more reliable than the other sources I have because it is made by the government. (It is a government source) It is also very objective. The goal of this source is to inform tourists about potential hazards and important tips.

This source was somewhat helpful to me and it shapes my point a little (backup information)

I used this source to help me find the demographics of tourists visiting Vanuatu. It did impact on how I considered this topic.

This website contains massive amounts of statistics and data. The point of this site is to show Vanuatu’s current data and display it for researchers to read. The topics that are covered are all of tourism news (graphs, population, retail), from 2003-2016 (so a lot of data!) –Refer to first sentence-this website is a database.

This is an extremely useful source. I found gold.

It is possibly the best website I have found, out of all my websites.

This information is also a very reliable source, as it is a government source.

It gathers information based on surveys on recordings, so it is very objective.

The goal of this source is to record tourist data online, publicly.

This source was helpful to me.

It helps me prove my facts about cruise ship’s being more popular than airplanes.

It has slightly changed my opinion on this topic

Sussex-isc-pme.blogspot.com.au. (2010). Jennifer's ISC Pre-Masters E Class Blog: Do the benefits of tourism outweigh the costs ? Iris. [online] Available at: http://sussex-isc-pme.blogspot.com.au/2010/03/do-benefits-of-tourism-outweigh-costs_4297.html [Accessed 15 Mar. 2016].

The main argument in this website is that the negative impacts of tourism are heavy and that we should pay more attention to it. The point of the “essay” is to explain ‘Her’ stand on “do the benefits of tourism weigh out the costs?” the topics that are covered are tourism and its benefits/losses. –Refer to last couple of sentences-

This is a useful source, it is lower classed than my other bibliography’s but is still at a satisfactory level of trustworthy information. This report is more biased then objective, yet she, (or the person who wrote this essay) did use a lot of statistics to back up her opinion. The goal of this source, perhaps is to convince the reader that there are quite a few negative impacts of tourism and that the costs are possibly too high to balance out the benefits.

This source was somewhat helpful to me.

It helps me understand a little bit more about the benefits and losses of tourism.

I can use this information to add to “do the benefits outweigh the costs?”.

It actually has changed a lot about how I think about tourism itself.

sustainable_tourism_rev1.shtml [Accessed 15 Mar. 2016].

Sustainable tourism and how it impacts the community. The point of this website is to teach/ inform people about the impacts, and the process, of sustainable tourism. The topic that is covered is “working towards sustainable tourism”. This website is about –refer to first sentence-.

This website is a very useful source, and is quite good, amidst all of my other bibliographies.

The information is very reliable because it is an educational site used for many of my school activities. (If my school trusts it, then so do I)

This site is also based on much research and data, so I would say that its objective.

The goal of this source is to teach people about many scholar subjects.

This source was helpful to me and helped add onto “how can tourism be made more sustainable?”

It has not changed how I think about this topic.

Vanuatu. (2016). Consequences. [online] Available at: http://tourisminvanuatu.weebly.com/consequences.html [Accessed 14 Mar. 2016].

Vanuatu’s consequences and impacts.

The point of this website is to inform readers about the consequences of touring. (Directed at Vanuatu.)

Topics that are covered are: Vanuatu’s GDP, environmental issues from touring and a lot more stuff is covered on this website. This website is a website on Vanuatu’s economy, environmental and cultural impacts from tourism. (And some other things as well: GDP)

This website is quite a useful source. Comparing it to my other bibliographies, it is alright.

I do not think that the information is completely reliable, but I could go through its sources and see where it is coming from. The information, like most of my other websites, seems to be backed up by a lot of data. This proves of a certain trustworthiness.

I think that the source is objective. The data behind it shows results from some different scenarios.

This source was helpful to me because it gave me information on a lot of my questions.

This site has not changed how I think about my topic.
